A CELEBRATION OF TERRY SUMSION – LEGACY IN COUNTRY MUSIC

Sumison Benefit

Terry Sumsion passed away March 26, 2011 but he left behind a score of fans and a true legacy in Country Music in Canada and around the world.  One of Terry’s fondest wishes was to provide a means for young people to pursue a career in music.  For that he created the “Terry Sumsion Scholarship Fund” which is managed by family members and friends.

On July 10th an event will be held in Thorndale, Ontario as a fund raiser for this worthy cause.

To be held at the Purple Hill Country Hall (20903 Purple Hill Road), it will feature performances by Marie Bottrell, Larry Mercey, Jay Allen, Dixon & Company, Suzie Sweetman (Terry’s long time writing partner), Paul Weber and perhaps some surprise guests!

All performers will be backed by Terry’s world-renown “Stagecoach Band”!

Tickets are $20 (limited) and may be obtained directly from the Purple Hill Country Hall (519-461-0538) or from Al Ross (519-875-2072 or 519-875-1175).
