For over a decade now, the ImportFest show has been delivering on their promises of Canada's Biggest and Baddest import car show. IMPORTFEST is more than just a car show, it's a lifestyle. Combine one part glitz and glamour, with one part sleek and cool design engineering; add in some lovely ladies with hot entertainment and you have a recipe for the hottest car show in North America. ImportFest is an indoor car show scene attracting hundreds of cars from hundreds of miles around.Showcasing over 400 modified sport compact cars from across North America and hosting various exhibitors and manufactures including accessories, performance parts and other car merchandise; this show has something for every car enthusiast alike.  Basit Mirza the brain child behind the show realized that with the HIN ending its schedule in the North East, many show car owners were looking for a venue. Mirza encouraged them to show up and take a shot at the title and the prize money offered at ImportFest and that they did as the heavyweights rolled in from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and even the long haul from Chicago. With loads of free giveaways and products to buy, show attendees also get to see the best Urban Dance Talent in Canada. This year the entertainment is even better then ever. This show has both a day and night theme. The lights will be on from 12pm to 7pm. After 7pm the light will be turned down for the evening’s entertainment.

This year's entertainment line up includes a DJ Competition, Live Performance's, Photo shoots, Video Game’s, Contests, Fashion shows and the hottest talent in the scene, from local artist to big name rappers. This year the stage will be hosted by Scoot Boogie, DJ Danny D and DJ Ritz. Scott Boogie has been dubbed as Canada’s #1 party MC as he has opened and hosted shows for KRS – ONE, Beatnuts, 50 Cent, Boot Camp Click, Redman, KC and Jojo, Brian McKnight, Mary J. Blige, TLC, Noreaga, Ludacris., and many more.Boogie is currently programming and mixing on a Galaxie satellite station for CBC, with over 5million subscribers.

Boogie hails from Scarborough, Ontario, and currently commutes between Toronto and Montreal. Boogie is a veteran in the music industry, with 15 years of scratching out the grooves. Boogie started out his career with a crew called VIP and gained a national audience when a television special aired across the country about them. Subsequent to that he joined a crew called the Dogg Squad, which included members Dr. Jay and Mikey Wizdom (whom are now both Soca DJ’s) and then proceeded to move to Ottawa, where he started the “Groove Train” crew in 1992. Boogie has been nominated 5 years straight as Soul Choice DJ record pools and DJ of The Year. He has been rated the number one Campus radio show in the country from 1998 till 2000, for his “Comfort Zone” program on CKCU. Coining the phase “Ain’t no party like a Groove Train party!!” Boogie has also run the promotions for Ottawa’s # 1 club called Cachet. In 2003, Boogie was asked to help launch a rhythmic CHR station in Ottawa, where he was named the Music Director and night jock. He ended up scoring a 24% share in the Spring Book and a  20% share in the Fall Book in the night slot. Scott has proven his radio skills were definitely something people want to hear. Scott Boogie has been dubbed as Canada’s # 1 party MC and has opened and hosted shows for KRS – ONE, Beatnuts, 50 Cent, Boot Camp Click, Redman, KC and Jojo, Brian McKnight, Mary J. Blige, TLC, Noreaga, Ludacris., and many more. Recently Boogie won the 2007 Stylus DJ award for club MC of The Year. Once asked, “What are you on…that makes you so hype?” Boogie answered, “…making the crowd go nuts, makes me hype. No drug or alcohol can replace that!!”, “So what’s next for Scott Boogie?” The answer according to Scott was simple,”…that elusive next level…reaching it and taking everyone with me…” Besides programming and mixing on a Galaxie satellite station for CBC, Boogie also spins on K103 in Montreal and is the swing jock on Toronto’s Flow 93.5. He is also the current president of the CORE DJ’s (Canada) which sees him travelling to the U.S. to meet with artists and A&R reps alike. Boogie is still working on the pilot for an urban television show and nationally syndicated radio shows. Boogie also keeps busy by answering fan email mail and producing remixes and of course as this years host for ImportFest 2011.
