Michelle Wright Back on Radio with Another Good Day

Story : Don Graham

Look out Canada! There’s a new “infectious, can’t get it out your head, positive, uplifting summer song” coming your way! “Another Good Day” is the latest offering from Canada’s queen of country music Michelle Wright and if everything happens as it should this record will put Michelle Wright back on the top of charts where she belongs. There was a time when she could have had her mail delivered to TOP OF THE CHARTS with hits like “Take It Like A Man,” “He Would Be Sixteen,” “New Kind of Love,” “Guitar Talk,” “Nobody’s Girl” and on and on. I’m probably leaving out your favourite song but there are so many to choose from it would be hard to name them all. Although Michelle never stopped performing and writing and playing her music, it’s been a while since she has seen significant chart action. That is all about to change with the release of “Another Good Day”.

We all know Michelle has been such a great Ambassador of Canadian country music and Canada in general, so it is fitting that she was born on Canada Day in the town of Chatham. Ontario.  One of the first female artists to relocate to Music City USA, Nashville, Tennessee, she is a living example of what the combination of talent, hard work and perseverance can do. Any young female country artists today looking to make a career in the music business would be wise to take a good long look at Michelle Wright’s career as an excellent template to model themselves after. From song choice to professional choices to most importantly her attitude and gratitude for the life she has been given the opportunity to live. You have never, and will never, hear a derogatory remark about her. She always conducts herself in a manner that makes us proud to call her one of our own.

She is deeply grateful for the team that has been with her all these years, producer/manager Brian Ferriman. Deborah Wood, of Deborah Wood publicity, her longtime publicist and all the other behind the scene folks. And of course her husband of 10 years, Marco.

Canadian country radio has already responded to this great offering and Michelle is about to achieve her goal of having another hit record. Reached at her home in Nashville she said, "I've never felt better and I am enjoying my life so much that having a hit record would be fabulous right now ! I love to tour and play for all the fans I've gained over the years. Wouldn't a hit record be great?"

Michelle Wright is about to see that happen because in my estimation if this ain’t a hit then grits ain’t groceries!!

“Another Great Day” is here!!!
