Shred Kelly has released their latest music video for the track, Jupiter (Any Other Way), off their fourth album, Archipelago, which was released earlier this year via Devil Duck Records. Shot at Island Lodge in Fernie, BC, the video was filmed by Aere Films and Nick Nault Photography. Have a look here, and catch the band on tour as they travel across western Canada and Europe in the coming months.

It was a pretty phenomenal opportunity to film this video at Island Lake Lodge in our hometown of Fernie, BC,” the band comments. “It is surreal that all of this beauty is in our backyard, and we were so excited to explore parts of the property we’d never even imagined, and create something within it.” The video was made possible by Island Lake Lodge and Tourism Fernie.

Florida five-piece, Wage War, are celebrating the one–year anniversary of their statement-making sophomore album, Deadweight (Fearless Records), by releasing a reworked acoustic version of the single, Gravity. It’s a beautiful rendering that shows the versatility of the track and is a striking testament to the band’s songwriting skill.

"To celebrate the one-year mark of Deadweight, we're pleased to release the stripped version of Gravity," said singer, Cody Quistad. "This record has changed our lives and we're so thankful for the love and support we've received. We were overwhelmed at the response to the stripped version of Johnny Cash, and it seemed to make sense to break down another one of our favorites. We're hard at work writing what we think will be the best Wage War record yet — making sure we give you nothing but our best."

The track was released on Saturday, August 4, which marked a year to the day that the album was released. It's available for purchase at the following DSPs.

Elvis Costello & The Imposters’ New Album Released October 12

Elvis Costello The Imposters Look Now.jpg

Elvis Costello and The Imposters – Steve Nieve (keyboards), Davey Faragher (bass), Pete Thomas (drums) – have made a sensational new album that ranks alongside the best work this singularly great artist has ever produced.

Recorded in Hollywood, New York City and Vancouver, British Columbia, Look Now is beautiful in its simplicity, reflective in its lyrical vision, surrounded by melodies and orchestrations that are nothing short of heavenly. It’s the first album Costello has made with The Imposters since the 2008 release of Momofuku and his first new album since the acclaimed 2013 Roots collaboration, Wise Up Ghost.

Anyone anywhere in the world who has seen Elvis Costello and The Imposters live can testify to their unmitigated swagger. Costello’s suspicion that it was time to return to the studio was confirmed while on the Imperial Bedroom & Other Chambers tour of the USA, last summer and he realized the power and sheer musicality of The Imposters had never really been fully captured on one record.

I knew if we could make an album with the scope of Imperial Bedroom and some of the beauty and emotion of Painted From Memory, we would really have something,” said Costello.

The album title honours the group’s late friend and Assistant Manager, Kosi, (affectionately known as Koba), who was the “glue” that held the brotherhood of Prime Boys together.

“We dedicate this album to our brother, our best friend, Kosi Modekwe, aka Koba. Without him, there wouldn't of been a Prime, and we thank him for that,” the group says. “He believed in us like no other, and now everything we do is for him. We have been working on this album for quite some time, long days, and long nights. At the end of the day, the music speaks for itself...”
