 Featuring whimsical violin, acoustic guitar, banjo, and upright bass, “Another Morning After” is both celebratory and introspective, taking the listener through snapshots in the life of a couple, beginning with their courtship and ending with them looking forward to the rest of their lives together. In fact; it’s actually the story of Carla and Tom; her own husband of 32 year.

The chorus begs “I want another morning after” as Muller looks at the day after each big day. For example, here’s the morning after the couple’s wedding:

Woolwich, ON folk artist Carla Muller understands this deeply. In her new song "The Last Two Years," she recognizes and pays tribute to the immense strength and resilience displayed by these young souls. "During these years, our kids were affected by isolation, fear and anxiety," says Muller. "This is for them, for all of the parents, like me, who watched their children’s world get smaller and smaller as the days wore on. And of course, this is for my own kids who stayed home to protect me because of my own health issues."

Supporting what we all need right now, Carla fuses Americana/Roots vibes into the songs, and donating 50% of the proceeds to Food Banks Canada. She says, " If I go back far enough, I can remember past Christmases from my own younger days. I just have to close my eyes and I can picture my Mom in the kitchen, singing softly to herself, our old dog Cassidy barking his head off as the doorbell rings and scrabbling to greet friends. Boxing Day would bring carols, sung in a way that only family can, our voices blending as they rose and fell in harmony.
