Award-winning Canadian children's musician Chris McKhool is turning up the joy with the release of Party in the Street, an exuberant new single that invites children and families to sing, dance, and celebrate together. Filmed at Toronto Caribbean Carnival and inspired by the vibrant traditions of Mardi Gras and Carnival, the song is the second single from McKhool's upcoming album, Global Dance Party! to be released on November 6, 2026.

The recording features an outstanding ensemble of musicians, including Kevin Laliberté on guitar, Saskia Tomkins on fiddle, Drew Birston on bass, and Marito Marques on drums. The track features a horn section of Doug Banwell, Kevin Turcotte, and William Carn, whose spirited performances bring the festive atmosphere to life. Rich harmonies and interactive choruses make the song a natural fit for classrooms, family concerts, festivals, and living room dance parties alike. The song was produced by McKhool, Laliberté, and Grammy winning engineer John "Beetle" Bailey, and mixed in Dolby Atmos, giving the recording an immersive, room filling quality.

'Global Dance Party!' continues to unfold in the months ahead, with follow-up single "On Halloween" arriving October 9 ahead of a full album release on November 6. McKhool will bring the new material to families across Ontario and beyond throughout the fall, with stops that include a Halloween-themed CD release celebration in Toronto on October 30.
