Flash Bangs
"Hide Away" is the debut single from Toronto-based power pop trio Flash Bangs. The three-piece embrace all things pop, rock, and, of course, flash. "Hide Away" is the first single from their self-titled EP which will be available digitally on Bandcamp this Friday June 6th and later this summer on luxurious vinyl and your favourite streaming service.
Formed in late 2023 the band made their debut at the late great Dakota Tavern in February 2024. With a mutual love for all things rock'n'roll, George Westerholm of George Westerholm And The Wild Wild Cats, James Clark of The James Clark Institute and Sean Ryan of Mr. Miyagi thought it might be fun to put together a little side project where they could explore their mutual musical passions.
""Hide Away' is one of the first tunes we started playing together" says group frontman George. "Listening to it now, it represents a time when we were still finding out who we were as a band, and it has a special place in our hearts because of that. It’s nice because 'Hide Away' is when all the pieces fell into place in a way that made us all say yes we are Flash Bangs".
