Stone Temple Pilots And Seether Announce Co-Headline Tour In Canada

Stone Temple Pilots and Seether have announced a co-headline tour, along with special guests, Default and Age of Days, in Canada – kicking off October 23rd in Penticton, BC.

With over 50 million albums sold, Stone Temple Pilots roared on to the scene in 1992 with their raucous debut, Core. A breakout success, the album peaked #3 on the Billboard 200 chart and dominated radio waves with hits like Sex Type Thing, Wicked Garden, and the Grammy-Award winning, Plush. STP founding members, Dean DeLeo, Robert DeLeo, Eric Kretz, along with new lead vocalist, Jeff Gutt, released their seventh studio album, Stone Temple Pilots (2018), and just wrapped the Rev 3 tour to rave reviews. The Atlanta Journal Constitution said, “STP made the comeback they’ve been trying for,” and DC Music Review stated, “The band was tighter than ever.”

Betray and Degrade, Seether’s newest music video from their seventh full-length studio album, Poison the Parish, premiered on Vevo August 10, 2017. This is the second music video the band released from their latest album.

Poison the Parish (Canine Riot / Fantasy), which hit on May 12, 2017, debuted at #1 on Billboard's Hard Rock albums chart, #14 on Billboard's Top 200 albums chart, and #8 on Billboard's Current albums chart selling more than 31,000 copies in its first week.

Most recently the band shared lead single, Let You Down, which sat at #1 across the U.S. at rock radio for four consecutive weeks.

Poison the Parish, recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, marks the first album produced entirely by front man Shaun Morgan. Perhaps the heaviest and most expressive collection they've ever released, the album is earning their best notices in years.

Seether is currently on the last leg of their North American tour, and come September 10, they will embark on their European tour. The European tour includes stops in countries such as Russia, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, among others.
