With a diversified team on this self-penned “Take Me Home”, JC lined up the best of the best with Featured Artist - Mo Louis (Saxophone), Lorenzo Johnson - Guitar, Bass, Strings and Eric Valentine on Drums combined with the song development and arrangement: Lou Bartolomucci & the artist herself JC Sol, gave this production an even more diversified sound than any of her previous releases.
The added cream of the crop was Music Producer Lorenzo Johnson of ZoSmooth Productions. “Working with Lorenzo Johnson of ZOSmooth Productions who has produced and written on four top 10 albums, two Grammy nominated projects, and one Soul Train Award winning project was truly inspiring.”
The magic of Michael Shotton as Vocal Producer and Mixing Engineer is key to sound on this production as he has been working with JC on her previous releases for the last few years. His expertise is what took the layered harmonies (which is a signature style of JC Sol) and finetuned the collaboration of artists in both Canada and the U.S. which has made this collaboration one that is truly a refreshing sound. “I can’t say enough about the vocal production genius of Canada’s own Michael Shotton.
