Torontonians among first to experience the new production from the producers of the phenomenon immersive Van Gogh, the original experience that captivated audiences around the globe.

With more than 6 million people around the world having experienced the original Immersive Van Gogh, the phenomenal success of this blockbuster sensation is an unprecedented Canadian success story. The first exhibit of its kind in North America, Immersive Van Gogh made box office history with an estimated 1 in every 50 Americans having experienced this unique sensory extravaganza. The spectacular digital art exhibition, that inspired numerous copycat exhibits, was dubbed by the New York Times as best in class.

“Immersive Van Gogh changed the way audiences experience art,” says Corey Ross, CEO of Lighthouse Immersive. “As we retire this beloved production, we are excited to introduce a reimagined exhibition that meets the ongoing demand for Van Gogh’s incomparable body of work and now includes some of his lesser-known works to create an unforgettable experience for both returning fans and audiences experiencing Immersive Van Gogh for the first time”.

Set against the backdrop of Van Gogh’s life—from the serene fields of sunflowers to the haunting landscapes of his struggles—this immersive experience captures the emotional depth and complexities of his artistic journey. This new edition of Immersive Van Gogh is poised to elevate the experience even further by providing insights into the pivotal moments the artist’s life, including his time in Paris, his tumultuous relationship with French painter and sculptor Paul Gauguin, and his reflections during his stay at Saint-Rémy. Each scene reveals the brilliance of Van Gogh's work, illuminating his passion for nature, his struggles with mental health, and his enduring legacy as an immortal artist.

“Creating this tribute to Vincent Van Gogh allows us to explore the profound depths of his emotional landscape, said Marco Generoso Realino, The New Immersive Van Gogh: The Next Chapter curator and CEO Visioni Srl. “Each brushstroke invites audiences to uncover the struggles and triumphs that defined his artistry. We are excited to take you on a journey through his life, illuminating the inspiration that continues to resonate today”.

Having made its North American debut in Toronto during the pandemic, Immersive Van Gogh quickly became a box office sensation, earning accolades from critics and audiences alike. Lighthouse Immersive, the innovative Canadian live entertainment company behind the production, adapted swiftly by introducing the first-ever ‘drive-through option,’ leading to sold-out shows from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day. This groundbreaking exhibition fully immerses visitors in over 300 of Van Gogh’s greatest works and premiered in July 2020, captivating audiences and receiving rave reviews worldwide, with critics calling it “Dazzling!” (Lonely Planet), “Breathtaking!” (NBC’s Today Show), and a “Must-See” (Architectural Digest). This new edition promises to dazzle once again, combining art, music, and movement to bring Van Gogh's vision to life.

The creative and producing team behind The New Immersive Van Gogh: The Next Chapter includes Marco Generoso Realino, Founder and CEO of Visioni Srl. A former professional dancer and choreographer, Realino has pioneered multivision in European performances and established "Visioni Eccentriche" and "Visioni – Immersive Emotions," focusing on immersive exhibitions that reinterpret traditional art forms.
