Plates & Playlists: Turning Food, Music, and Connection Into Real Support for Mental Health
This season, The Awesome Music Project is rallying communities across the country to transform good food, great music, and meaningful moments into vital support for mental health programs.
Through Plates & Playlists, The Awesome Music Project invites individuals and groups to host a special gathering—whether it’s a dinner party, a takeout night, or brunch with friends—and contribute to a shared $30,000 fundraising goal for programs that inspire hope and healing through the power of music.
Here’s how it works:
- Pick Your Night – Choose a date between now and the end of January to host your event.
- Build Your Playlist – Ask guests to contribute their favorite songs to create a personalized soundtrack and take the opportunity to discuss the impact of music on mental health.
- Raise Funds – Aim for a $300 fundraising goal (or more!) with your guests. Together, 100 events will help achieve the $30,000 goal for programs that change lives.
