Fresh off her 2022 Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for ‘Young Performer of the Year,’ Canadian pop singer Hannah Thomas sets the stage for a summer of songs in Stratford, Ontario with the return of her third annual Dock Music Concert Series — starting this week! Shows run every Sunday at 7:00pm now through July 24th in front of the new Tom Patterson Theatre along the Avon River.

Watch “‘Just Sing’ Dock Mural — Featuring Hannah Thomas & Claire Scott” by Kris Von Kleist via YouTube Here:

Hannah’s smooth and powerful vocals leave audiences captivated, and this season her stunning performances will be complemented by guest performers, themed shows, and duets with her father, Dale Thomas — who was featured on her recently released seasonal album, Christmas Don’t Be Late.

With the setting sun’s magic golden hour as a stunning backdrop, Dock Music takes place atop a special mural by local artist, Claire Scott. “She painted an incredible mural displaying the combination of music, art, and community, and how it brings us all together,” Hannah explains.

The inspiration behind the ‘Just Sing Dock Mural’ art direction takes a page from Hannah’s ethos for the event at large. “This summer concert series began in 2020 when the community needed a boost of happiness,” the 19-year-old multi-award-winning singer and performer shares of the ever-growing event. “With that, I’m looking forward to another summer of wonderful music on the Avon River this year.”

With thanks to premium sponsors Danna Nicole, Tradition Mutual Insurance Company, Neumeister Motors, and many other generous local sponsors, the weekly hour-long concert series is free to attend.

A breakthrough pop artist from Stratford, Ontario, Hannah Thomas is a decorated performer, having earned accolades and accomplishments in both her hometown and across the country. Her soaring innate talent has seen her open for Alan Doyle (Great Big Sea) at Aurora’s Magna Hoedown Showdown in 2019, and granted her opportunities with The Shot Canada, the Stratford Festival of Canada, Stratford Summer Music, working with renowned folk artist Dayna Manning (whom she’d later enlist to produce Christmas Don’t Be Late), and more.

Hannah Thomas’ third annual Dock Music Series runs Sundays at 7:00pm now through July 24th.
