Based in Toronto and syndicated on Indie 101.5 and Philly Jamz 95.3 in the U.S.A., and CHHA 1610am back home, LTMO! features new music releases, interviews, discussions, and personal stories from industry leaders and recording artists. It’s analysis with an insider edge, crafted for anybody who wants to get in the game.
The show was made possible by the successes of The Singer’s Company, a record label, music-publishing operation and management firm founded by a dream team of music-biz pros—including highly pedigreed producer, songwriter and A&R executive Roy Hamilton III, for whom the program is both a passion project and the fulfillment of a personal vision.
“My hope for this show is to create an international outlet and radio story for each and every one of the artists who have chosen The Singer’s Company to help them launch their professional music careers,” Hamilton says.
The seed of the program was Welcome to Modern Artist Development, a handbook Hamilton wrote and published that lays out a simple path aspiring singers, songwriters and recording artists can follow to get their music out and achieve their dreams and professional goals. The book even inspired an uplifting theme song, “Let That Music Out!”, featuring singer/actor Nia Holloway on vocals, it’s currently available on all streaming platforms.
If anybody is qualified to lead such discussions, it’s Hamilton, a multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated talent whose achievements in the pop and R&B fields are legion. Over the last two decades, he’s discovered and helped shape the musical careers of numerous chart-topping singers, songwriters and producers. His skills and abilities have helped sell over 70 million albums worldwide for artists like Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Ariana Grande, and labels including Capitol Records, RCA Records and the Universal Music Group. He’s also the grandson of legendary singer Roy Hamilton, who scored Number One R&B hits with renditions of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” and “Unchained Melody.”
